Protection Regulation
Final Decision of the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
IMY adopts the Danish Data Protection Authority’s decision in Appendix 2 pursuant to
Article 60(8) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and closes the case.
Presentation of the case
On the 29th of November 2021 the complainant filed a complaint with IMY against the
webpage Falinas.com. On the 29th of April 2022 IMY sent the complaint to the Danish
Data Protection Authority as the case concerns cross-border processing and the
webpage has its main establishment in Denmark. The Danish Data Protection
Authority has investigated the matter and issued a draft decision pursuant to Article
60(3) GDPR. None of the supervisory authorities concerned has expressed an
objection to the draft decision pursuant to Article 60 (4) GDPR.
Statement of reasons for the decision
The controller has stated to the Danish Data Protection Authority that it has complied
with the complainant’s request. The complainant was given an opportunity to respond
to this statement but did not reply. Against this background, the Danish Data
Protection Authority found no reason to take further action in the case and decided to
close the case in a draft decision. None of the supervisory authorities concerned have
expressed an objection to the draft decision. IMY therefore adopts the decision
pursuant to Article 60(8) GDPR.
The case is therefore closed.
This decision was decided by Head of Unit after presentation from
ledal advisor .
